Emilia Philippot
Emilia Philippot is the Chief Curator of Heritage. She began her career at the Réunion des Musées Nationaux, contributing to the scientific project and programming of the Galeries Nationales du Grand Palais. She later joined the Centre National des Arts Plastiques, where she expanded design acquisitions to include graphic design. Since 2012, she has held key curatorial roles at the Musée National Picasso-Paris, overseeing graphic arts, tearly paintings, and drawings, before becoming Director of Collections and Education. In 2023, she was appointed Deputy Director of Studies at the Institut National du Patrimoine, where she leads the training of future heritage curators. She has curated major exhibitions in France and abroad, including "Picasso! The Anniversary Exhibition" (2015),"Picasso. Blue and Rose" (2018), "Calder Picasso" (2019), and "Out of Focus, another vision of art from 1945 to the present day" (2025). She is a published expert on Picasso and Modern Art. She also participated in collective works, including The Dictionary of Cubism (Robert Laffont, 2018). From mid-February 2026, Emilia Philippot will take up the position of Head of the Scientific Department and Collections at the Musée Rodin- Paris.
