The international success of Bollywood must not conceal the diversity of Indian cinematography. This publication, edited by Julien Rousseau and Hélène Dessous from Musée du Quai Branly-Jacques Chirac presents essays and images from a vast and multicultural Indian cinema: Bollywood, Kollywood, Tamil, Bengali are all analysed in this publication.
