Ariella Aïsha Azoulay is a curator, filmmaker, and Professor of Modern Culture and Media in the Department of Comparative Literature at Brown University. Her work focuses on the violence of imperial boundary-making, suggesting a hitherto under-recognised relationship between documented cultural artefacts and undocumented migrants.
