HOW Talk will host the launch of “Pressure Cooker Recipes: An Architectural Cookbook,” the accompanying publication of the UAE National Pavilion at the 19th International Architecture Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia, published by Kaph Books.⁣

Featuring a conversation between curator Azza Aboualam and Professor Kevin Mitchell, the event will explore architecture as food infrastructure in arid climates. The publication presents architectural research through a cookbook format, offering design-led responses to food security, sustainability, and policy in the UAE and beyond.⁣

Following the talk, a book signing will take place, alongside a presentation by food artist Dania AlTamimi, who will introduce her practice and present a selection of small bites inspired by ingredients and concepts from the book.
