Join us for the book launch of Resurgent Nahda: The Arab Exhibitions in Mandate Jerusalem (Kaph Books, 2024), edited by Nadi Abusaada.
The launch will be accompanied by a rare display of artworks and crafts by pioneer Arab artists and artisans who took part in the 1930s Arab Exhibitions in Jerusalem—events that sought to emphasize cultural exchange and inter-Arab relations across a geopolitically fragmented region during the Mandate years. This Beirut edition runs in parallel with a companion show currently on view at The Palestinian Museum in Birzeit, Palestine.
Speakers: Nadi Abusaada & Kirsten Scheid Organized by Dar El-Nimer and The Palestinian Museum
The art display runs until the 21st of June.
